Should “Mercy Killing” Be legal Or illegal?

First of all one question will arise in our mind that what is Mercy Killing? Mercy killing is not a natural death, its given according to the patient’s wish or their family’s wish. Our government has also some rules according to Mercy Killing.

Should Mercy Killing be legal or illegal?? Here we will discuss on both the points whether it should be legal or illegal? It would be differ from person to person. A person who has hope that the person gone under coma will get recovery at one day, according to that person Mercy killing is illegal. Though he know that the patient gone in coma will not get well early ,then also he is not loosing his hope and wastes his money behind him. This thing shows his feelings towards the patient.

We have earlier example of this. It is about lady Aruna Shanbaug who died after 42 years since she went in coma. Many times the doctor treated to  her suggested for Mercy Killing , but the nurses who were taking care of her were refused for that because they had feelings for Aruna Shanbaug and they had hope that one day she will wake up. If the family members were there on behalf of those nurses , they would definitely agree for Mercy Killing. Its all about feelings.

This thing can do only those people who have feelings towards the patient plus they have enough money to bare the cost of patient’s treatment. On the other hand it is also possible that if some people have feelings towards the patient but did not have sufficient money to bare cost of the treatment ,then those people have no any option other then Mercy Killing.

So, it’s differ from person to person whether Mercy Killing is legal or illegal. It’s all about hope and feelings..:)
